Experience the raw beauty of Taman Negara with our adventurous 4 Days 3 Nights Inner Jungle Package. Journey deep into the core of the ancient rainforest, conquer challenging treks to Keniam Cave, sleep under the natural elements, and immerse yourself in an unforgettable wilderness expedition.

Two Package Options Available:
  • Fullboard From Kuala Lumpur: If you are starting your journey from KL, you must choose this option. It covers your two-way transportation directly to Taman Negara along with your fullboard itinerary.
  • Fullboard From Kuala Tahan: If you plan your own journey and are already arriving at Kuala Tahan, this is the perfect package for you. It strictly covers your itinerary starting from Kuala Tahan.

Tour Itinerary

  1. Pickup (KL Packages Only)

    Gather at lobby of LOT G7 16, Ground Floor (Travelodge Hotel) No 7, Jln Hang Kasturi, 50010 KL.

    After arrive jetty tembeling guest Boat ride to Taman Negara.

    **(Guests may choose to go by boat or by land transfer – No additional charge)

  2. Arrive & Check-in

    Welcome to Kuala Tahan! Whether arriving via our KL transport or your own transport, this is your check-in time.

    Important Setup: Please proceed to the wildlife counter before 18:00 hrs (6:00 PM). You need to register and purchase your park permit (RM 1.00) and camera license (RM 5.00).

  3. Free & leisure

    Free & leisure time. You can explore the resort area or join optional tour: Boat Trip to Lata berkoh.

  4. Dinner

    Enjoy a delicious dinner served at our resort restaurant, gathering energy for your night activity.

  5. Night Activity

    Night Jungle Walk & Animal Observation

    Meet your guide to embark on a fascinating night walk in the jungle. Spot nocturnal insects, spiders, slow loris, and if you are lucky, larger mammals!

  1. Breakfast

    Wake up to the sound of the forest. Head over to the dining area for a satisfying breakfast spread.

  2. Gathering & preparation

    Meet your guide at the TME Adventure office. Prepare your camping gear, sleeping bag, roll mat, water, and packed food. Complete safety briefing and check with the Wildlife Department.

  3. Canopy Walkway & Kuala Keniam

    Enjoy a short 10-minute boat ride to the Canopy Walkway. Continue by boat to Kuala Keniam (approx. 1.5 hours) with packed lunch en route.

    Reminder: Canopy Walkway close every friday. If this trip on friday, the activity will be rescheduled to Day 3

  4. Jungle Trekking

    Trek approximately 8.6KM through the rainforest to reach Keniam Cave.

  5. Arrival & Evening Activities

    Settle in and cook dinner with your guide. Freshen up and wash at a small river nearby.

  6. Dinner

    Dinner at campsite and overnight in the cave/camping area.

  1. Breakfast

    Prepare simple breakfast at campsite before trekking.

  2. Trekking to Kuala Trengganu

    Trek approximately 8KM to Kuala Trengganu. Lunch (noodle meal) will be prepared along the way.

  3. Visit Orang Asli & Rapid Shooting

    Continue your journey by boat to visit the Orang Asli Village, where you will experience the traditional lifestyle of the indigenous people. You will learn about their daily activities, blowpipe hunting techniques, and fire-making demonstration. After the village visit, enjoy an exciting rapid shooting experience along the river — be prepared to get wet and have fun!

  4. Dinner

    Enjoy dinner at the resort restaurant.

  1. Breakfast

    Enjoy your last breakfast in the rainforest before departure.

  2. Check-out & Departure

    Time to bid goodbye to Taman Negara. Check out of your room. Return transport departs for Kuala Lumpur (for KL packages)

Before You Go

Important Reminder

Do not forget your permits!

As explicitly reminded in your Day 1 itinerary, you must buy your National Park entry permit (RM 1.00) and Camera License (RM 5.00) at the wildlife counter before 6:00 PM upon arrival. The counter strictly closes at 18:00 hrs. Ensure you have your Identity Card/Passport details on hand!

Canopy Walkway Closure Notice

As explicitly reminded in your Day 1 itinerary, The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance and safety purposes. Guests visiting on Fridays will have this activity rescheduled as stated in the itinerary.

  • For joined transport (KL Package delays), please refer to the specific transport timing policies that will be provided during booking.
  • The management shall not be held responsible for loss of baggage, personal belongings, illness, injury, death, delays, or failure to connect with other services due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Transportation will be provided by air-conditioned mini van, van, or bus depending on the number of passengers.
  • Cancellation or amendment made after full payment received will not be refundable.
  • Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night applies to non-Malaysian guests and is payable at the hotel.
