Embark on a 2 Days 1 Night inner jungle expedition to Kepayang Cave, one of the most adventurous experiences in Taman Negara. Trek 8.6KM through pristine ancient rainforest, camp overnight near the cave, cook with your guide, and return through thrilling rapid shooting along the river. This package is designed for those seeking a genuine wilderness experience beyond the typical resort-based tours.

Tour Itinerary

  1. Meeting Point & Preparation

    Meet at TME office. You will be introduced to your guide and begin packing camping gear, sleeping bag, roll mat, water, and foods.

    Complete checking at the Wildlife Department before departure.

  2. Boat to Kuala Keniam

    Enjoy a boat ride to Kuala Keniam (approx. 1.5 hours) with packed lunch along the way.

  3. Jungle Trekking to Keniam Cave

    Trek approximately 8.6KM through the ancient rainforest to reach Keniam Cave. Experience the raw beauty of Taman Negara's deep jungle.

  4. Arrival & Evening Activities

    Arrive at Keniam Cave. Settle in and cook dinner with your guide. Freshen up and wash (bath) at the small river nearby.

  5. Dinner

    Enjoy dinner at the campsite and overnight stay in the cave/camping area.

  1. Breakfast

    Prepare and enjoy breakfast at the campsite before packing up for the return trek.

  2. Trekking to Kuala Trengganu

    Trek approximately 8KM to Kuala Trengganu. Lunch (noodle meal) will be prepared along the way.

  3. Orang Asli Village & Rapid Shooting

    Continue your journey by boat to visit the Orang Asli Village (native people), where you will experience the traditional lifestyle of the indigenous people. After the village visit, enjoy an exciting rapid shooting experience along the river — be prepared to get wet and have fun!

  4. End of Tour

    Tour ends. Thank you for joining us on this amazing inner jungle adventure!

Canopy Walkway Closure Notice

The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance and safety purposes. Guests visiting on Fridays will have this activity rescheduled as stated in the itinerary.

  • Physical Fitness: This tour involves extensive trekking (~16.6KM total). Please ensure you are physically prepared for the challenge.
  • Weather Conditions: Itineraries are subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions or trail safety.
  • Follow Your Guide: Always stay close to your guide and follow instructions for your safety in the deep jungle.
  • Respect Nature: Do not litter. Carry all waste back with you.
