Take your Taman Negara adventure to the next level with our 3 Days 2 Nights Inner Jungle package featuring Kepayang Cave exploration and overnight animal observation. Trek deep into the ancient rainforest, camp by the cave, spend a night at the Kumbang Hide animal observation tower spotting nocturnal wildlife, and finish with thrilling rapid shooting. This is the most comprehensive inner jungle experience we offer.

Meet at our office at Jetty Kuala Tahan. You will be introduced to your guide and begin packing camping gear, sleeping bag, roll mat, water, and foods.
Complete checking at the Wildlife Department before departure.
Enjoy a short 10-minute boat ride to the Canopy Walkway. Continue by boat to Kuala Keniam (approx. 1.5 hours) with packed lunch along the way.
Reminder: Canopy Walkway close every Friday. If this trip falls on a Friday, this activity will be switched to Day 2 or Day 3.
Trek approximately 8.6KM through the ancient rainforest to reach Keniam Cave. Experience the raw beauty of Taman Negara's deep jungle.
Arrive at Keniam Cave. Settle in and cook dinner with your guide. Freshen up and wash (bath) at the small river nearby.
Enjoy dinner at the campsite and overnight stay in the cave/camping area.
Prepare and enjoy breakfast at the campsite before packing up for the day's trek.
Trek approximately 6.8KM to Kumbang Hide (animal observation tower). Lunch (noodle meal) will be prepared along the way.
Note: If Kumbang Hide is not available or closed due to safety or repair progress by the Wildlife Department, we will change to sleep at Chegar Anjing Hide or Tabing Hide as alternative.
Prepare and enjoy dinner at the hide. Then settle in for an exciting night observation session — watch for nocturnal wildlife visiting the salt lick from the safety of the observation tower. Overnight stay at the hide.
Prepare and enjoy breakfast at the hide before packing up for the final day's journey.
Trek approximately 1 hour to Kuala Trenggan where you will board a boat for the next adventure.
Take a boat to visit the Orang Asli Village (native people), where you will experience the traditional lifestyle of the indigenous people. Enjoy a blowpipe demonstration and fire-making demo.
Boat back with an exciting rapid shooting experience along the river — be prepared to get wet and have fun!

Canopy Walkway Closure Notice
The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance and safety purposes. Guests visiting on Fridays will have this activity rescheduled to Day 2 or Day 3 as stated in the itinerary.
Kumbang Hide Availability
If Kumbang Hide is not available or closed due to safety concerns or repair progress by the Wildlife Department, we will arrange for you to stay at Chegar Anjing Hide or Tabing Hide as alternative.
